If you were not able to attend the Ball State Centennial Celebration and the premiere of the Centennial Documentary on September 6th, at Emens Auditorium, then you are in luck! On Wednesday, November 7th, at 6:30 pm, Chris Flook, with Delaware County Historical Society, will be at Westminster to talk about the history of Ball State and present the BSU student-produced documentary, “From Normal to Extraordinary: Ball State’s First Century.” If you would like to learn more about the history of Ball State, or just rekindle great memories, this program is one not to miss!

Second Annual Health Fair at Westminster
Westminster Village will host its Second Annual Health Fair, “Keeping Your Life In Balance,” on October 17th, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, in Legacy Commons. There will be over 30 vendors ready to answer your questions and give you information to help you stay healthy. Several of the vendors will be offering free screenings for Hearing, Dermatology, Bone Density, Vision, Blood Pressure, Glucose, and Heart/Stroke. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Department will also be here for a prescription medicine drop. Please come to this informative fair to help live a “Life in Balance!”

“In The Pink Day” At Westminster Village
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Friday, October 26th it will be In the Pink Day at Westminster, as we remember those who lost their battle to Breast Cancer and celebrate others who won their fight. At Westminster, we will be decorating in pink and encouraging everyone who can, to wear pink on this special day. At 2:00 pm, there will be an In the Pink Social in Legacy Commons. Beverly Wilson, a Breast Cancer survivor, will be on hand to speak of her triumph over cancer. The public is invited to attend.

The fourth season of PBS’s Poldark on MASTERPIECE airs on WIPB on September 30 at 9pm! You are invited to preview the first episode of the fourth season before it comes to the big screen.

Ross Poldark, a British Army officer, returns home in Cornwall after the American Revolutionary War and rebuilds his life with a new business venture, making new enemies and finding a new love where he least expects it.

The fourth season starts in 1796, and to defend Cornwall and those he loves Ross must play the political game on a journey that takes him to the nation’s capital and into new perils.
Poldark, Season 4 is a Mammoth Screen production for the BBC and MASTERPIECE.
Based on the novels by Winston Graham.

Douglas Droste | artistic director | conductor Conductor Droste is recognized as possessing “obvious joy” for making music and a “sure sense of timing” when on the podium. Those under his baton routinely acknowledge his in-depth interpretations, keen sense of communication, and personable ability to empower musicians. Droste is the Artistic Director of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, Director of Orchestras at Ball State, and Conductor of the Music For All Summer Symposium Youth Orchestra.

Steven Greenman | composer | violinist | arranger As a composer, Steven has produced two landmark recordings of his original Jewish and klezmer compositions, Stempenyu’s Dream and Stempenyu’s Neshome, while two of his Jewish liturgical melodies have been recognized and published by the Shalshelet Foundation for New Jewish Liturgical Music. His latest composition, Klezmer Concert Suite for Solo Violin and Orchestra (2018) will receive its world premier performance in September 2018 with the Muncie Symphony Orchestra.
