Dr. Lucius Lorenzo Ball, the eldest of the Ball Brothers, received his medical degree from the University of Buffalo in 1889, at the age of forty. Unlike his brothers, who built new homes along Minnetrista Boulevard, Lucius purchased an existing home along the Boulevard.
