MSO: Friends of the Orchestra

Join us for “Music for My Mother”, the second concert of our “Friends of the Orchestra” series, a memorable performance featuring Noelle Tretick Gosling, Violinist and MSO Concertmaster, and Jim Rhinehart, MSO Principal Pianist.

Noelle Tretick Gosling – Violin
Noelle Tretick Gosling lives and works in Indianapolis and is Concertmaster of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra. She is a regular performer with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and has toured with many celebrities including Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, Harry Connick Jr, Andy Williams, Perry Como, Mel Tormé, and Johnny Mathis. Her students are consistent competition prize winners and they hold leadership positions in area Youth Orchestras. She has music performance degrees from The Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and The North Carolina School of the Arts.

Jim is a pianist, composer, and teaching living and working in Indiana. Originally from Michigan, he received degrees from Central Michigan University and Florida State University before receiving his doctorate in Theory and Composition from Ball State University. He produces music for several commercial endeavors, teaches at Ball State, and plays piano whenever he can. Jim serves as Principal Pianist of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra. In addition to music, Jim enjoys walking, sausage-making, and cooking.
