Our Eleven Graduates of Academy for Community Leadership

Westminster Village has partnered with the Academy for Community Leadership co-sponsored by Muncie-Delaware Co. Chamber of Commerce  and Ball State University by providing a speaker and sending a class member for many years. Currently we  have eleven employees who have graduated from this leadership program.

Since 1976, the Academy for Community Leadership has contributed to the growth of Muncie and Delaware County’s community leaders through a ten-week program. The Academy enables several individuals each year to broaden their view of civic leadership and further develop their talents to meet community needs.

ACL is a vehicle to promote our community leaders while providing valuable networking opportunities for participants. Participants are exposed to our local history, business community, government, health care, cultural awareness, education, leadership styles and more. For over 40 years, community leaders have participated in this beneficial program. As a participant, we have all heard from key leaders of our community, participated in a community project, met new people, and toured various locations and facilities throughout Delaware County.
